VESPA SEI GIORNI II EDITION

FOLLOWING ON FROM THE SUCCESS OF VESPA SEI GIORNI COMES THE SECOND SERIES OF A VERY MODERN LEGEND

THE NEW NUMBERED, LIMITED EDITION IS INSPIRED BY THE EPIC, TRIUMPHANT STORY OF THE MOST FAMOUS RACING VESPA

THE NEW 300 HPE ENGINE, WITH MORE THAN 23 HP, IS THE MOST POWERFUL EVER TO EQUIP A VESPA

Following on from the great commercial success of the first 2017 edition comes the Vespa Sei Giorni II Edition. This second numbered series further develops the concept of the new Sei Giorni, which blends technology, the travelling vocation typical of the Vespa GTS family, and the authentic Vespa racing tradition.

The new edition of Vespa Sei Giorni also recalls the victorious feats of the original Vespa Sport "Sei Giorni" of the same name, built for the very challenging 1951 "Sei Giorni Internazionale di Varese" regularity race, in which it proved to be the undisputed albeit unexpected star, scoring 9 gold medals.

Vespa Sei Giorni II Edition is even more sporty thanks to its new 300 HPE engine (High Performance Engine), liquid cooled and with four valves and electronic injection. With respect to the first version, maximum power reaches a value of 17.5 kW (23.8 HP), which translates into an increase of 12%, while maximum torque, equal to 26 Nm, rises by 18%.

A unique style, inspired by the origins of Vespa

The Vespa Sei Giorni style recalls that of classic Vespas. Characteristic elements include the "low headlight", the handlebar in exposed metal tubing, the elegant circular instruments and the bronze top fairing that elegantly wraps the instrument cluster, while the redesigned leg shield features the new "tie", extended and enhanced with matte black embellishments.

The overall look incorporates a black number plate, taken directly from the livery of the Vespa used by the legendary Squadra Corse in the '50s, and is enhanced by black details such as the wheel rims and silencer, and gritty red details. Vespa Sei Giorni II Edition also stands out for its new dedicated colour, Sei Giorni Grey.

Comfort and Safety

Vespa Sei Giorni boasts a spacious helmet compartment and a large and comfortable seat thanks to the race-style saddle with two-layer upholstery, homologated for two persons. The ergonomics are perfect Vespa, enhanced by the comfort of the large body; the seat position is natural and allows total control over the vehicle and absolute comfort even over long distances.

It features a USB port as standard, located inside the leg shield compartment, while the rear light set now adopts full LED lighting technology, a solution that contributes to improving active safety. On the safety front, the ABS anti-lockbraking system is standard equipment.

Accessories

Accessories include the windscreen, 42 l top case, front and rear luggage racks, and the perimeter guard kit for maximum chassis protection. A saddle in the more traditional two-up configuration is also available, as is a saddle in real "Made in Italy" brown leather for an added touch of elegance. Additional accessories include a leg cover in thermal material, a vehicle cover, mechanical anti-theft system, electronic anti-theft,anti-slip rubber mat and a real leather bag. The VESPA MIA system connects a smartphone to the Vespa for a truly sophisticated on-board computer that displays information such as speed, revs, power and torque delivery, longitudinal acceleration, instantaneous and average fuel consumption, average speed, battery voltage, trip information and much more besides.
