[Attachment] Spectrum is set to start the New Year as we mean to go on with a total of five Multi-Client seismic acquisition projects in operation simultaneously around the globe. This activity represents major investment in new products and is new record for the company. Projects will add yet more data to Spectrum's vast 2D library, the largest of its kind, and supplement its existing collection of 3D surveys in key areas of exploration to help prepare the oil and gas exploration industry for upcoming licensing rounds.

VP of Multi-Client Projects, Laura Arti, proudly lists the acquisition activity currently under her watch, 'As of the second week of January my team are overseeing projects in Argentina, Gabon, Brazil and Mozambique. These represent a further 77,000 2D line km and 5,500 3D km to be added to Spectrum's Multi-Client seismic data library.'

The seismic being acquired along the coast of Argentina and in the Santos Campos basin of Brazil represent the latest in an ongoing endeavour to create the definitive library of prospectivity-determining seismic in an area which is not only underexplored but, crucially, expects to be the subject of new licensing rounds in the next few years. Spectrum data has the potential to provide oil and gas companies with a unique perspective on the region ahead of licensing activity and, in the case of Argentina, will actually be utilized to assist the Ministry in placement and design of future license block demarcation.

Over in Africa, Spectrum continues to build on its unique 3D shallow water open block coverage offshore Gabon where it is working in collaboration with the Direction Générale des Hydrocarbures (DGH) to provide the industry with 17,000 km of state-of-the-art 3D broadband data. A variety of plays are targeted to allow a new generation of oil exploration in these prolific basins were data will be made available for future License Round evaluation.

Finally, Spectrum is making good progress on its 19,000 km 2D survey offshore Mozambique which is being conducted in partnership with Western Geco. New seismic data will play a key role in refining our understanding of the hydrocarbon potential of the area and accelerate exploration activity in what is believed to be an oil-dominated region offshore Mozambique.

As with all Spectrum projects, these latest surveys have been designed by members of an in-house geoscience team tasked with the objective to deliver seismic that specifically addresses geological and imaging challenges in the respective areas of exploration. Seismic Imaging of this data will be overseen by Spectrum's own teams of geoscientists to ensure optimum results.
