29 employees from Lucknow Plant won awards across thirteen categories this year



Tata Motors Lucknow Plant created history by winning as many as 38 awards at 21st All India Creativity Summit organized by Indian National Suggestion Schemes' Association (INSSAN) at New Delhi recently. The theme of the summit was 'Employee Creativity: Commitment to Excellence'.

Mr. R P Singh (Director, HR & Legal, IFFCO Corporate Delhi) inaugurated the summit and addressed the participants. Mr. Douglas Webster (COO - Delhi International Airport Ltd) and Mr. Anal Vijay Singh (Plant Head-Pantnagar Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors) were the chief guests during the valedictory sessions on day one and two, respectively.

Tata Motors Lucknow Plant won multiple awards in thirteen categories at the 2-day summit held in the capital city, organized by the northern chapter of INSSAN. Tata Motors Lucknow won multiple awards in each category- essay (5), poem (4), poster (2), slogan (6), sujhav ratna (2), creativity champion (1), idea management champion (1) and distinguished evaluator (1), case study presentation (8), innovative/unique employee involvement practices (1), technical paper category (1), exhibit contest awards (5) and session chairman (1). The awards were won across levels including excellence, par excellence and distinguished and appreciation.

Over 360 delegates attended the summit from 17 companies (40 units/plants). Apart from Tata Motors Lucknow Plant, Tata Motors Pantnagar and Sanand Plants too won 40 and 33 awards at the summit respectively with Pantnagar Plant winning the highest among all the participating plants/companies.

Tata Motors Lucknow Plant had won 24 and 23 awards at the 20th and 19th National Creativity Summit organized by INSSAN in 2018 and 2017, respectively.

The back-to-back achievements is another milestone in Tata Motors Lucknow Plant's journey towards Business Excellence.
