At the beginning of their training program on August 1st, technotrans has welcomed 19 apprentices at its headquarter at Sassenberg, among them four dual students. The company thus maintains its position as one of the largest training centers in its region. The junior employees expect a diversified education with many exciting areas of project work at the specialist for liquid technology.

We attach great importance to providing skilled training. Also the future, technical professionals guarantee a high competitiveness of our company and our region', says Tina Wegmeth, HR officer and training manager at technotrans. At 10 percent, the proportion of trainees in the overall staff among the technotrans employees remains high.

Also this year, the company continues to train and educate young professionals in technical and commercial professions. It does not lack interesting activities, says Wegmeth. 'Project work as a team is an integral part of our training. Our apprentices, for example, develop a complex racetrack for an upcoming vocational training fair which comprises much mechanics, electrical engineering and cooling technology. In this way, we can illustrate some of the professional fields in our company.'

High regard and extensive complementary offerings
The company from Sassenberg offers its young talents during their training not only professional workshops and exam preparation but also intensive support including mentoring and coaching provided by experienced professionals. Additionally, first stays in foreign countries are possible. The proportion of trainees taken on with employment contracts is almost 100 percent. 'We aim at binding our trainees to the firm in the long term', underlines Wegmeth.

Thanks to the voluntary activity of our trainees, technotrans has almost no problems to find skilled trainees contrary to other companies.

For example, our trainees run a blog and Instagram channel completely independently and enjoy giving the outside world an insight into their daily work and the company,' says Wegmeth. Basically, the appearance in social media channels is indispensable for companies today in order to reach young people.
