Tokyo Electric Power Company is entering a phase of major change in the business environment with the start of full liberalization of retail electricity on April 1 this year as well as transitioning to a Holding Company System.

The recruitment plan for FY2017 took into consideration changes in the business environment and anticipated technological innovations including IT. Based on the plan, TEPCO will actively promote mid-career recruiting as well as recruit woman who are experienced, knowledgeable and capable. The TEPCO Group comprising of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Incorporated and its three subsidiaries (Tokyo Electric Power Company Fuel & Power, Incorporated, Tokyo Electric Power Company Power Grid, Incorporated, and Tokyo Electric Power Company Energy Partner, Incorporated) will recruit 320 new employees who continually create new values.

For maximizing contributions to continued employment for Fukushima's revitalization, we plan to recruit roughly 30 new graduates from universities, vocational schools and high schools from Fukushima Prefecture.
The breakdown of TEPCO Holdings, Incorporated and its three subsidiaries will be decided on later based on the business plan of each subsidiary.

*Recruitment number includes both regular recruitment and year-round recruitment.
*Recruiting activities will be conducted together for the above four companies.
