In his past career Mr. Lam held the position of Senior Vice President of Affin-UOB Securities Sdn. Bhd., General Manager & Head-Priority Broking at Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd., Deputy Director at RHB Investment Bank Bhd. and General Manager of UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. Lam received an undergraduate degree from RMIT University.
