Andreas Breitenfellner

Mr. Andreas Breitenfellner is a Senior Expert at Österreichische Nationalbank.
He started his career as an Internship at the International Labour Office.
He then moved on as a Research Intern at the European Trade Union Institute.
From 1998 to August 1999, he was Project Manager of the International Relations Department at the Austrian Trade Union Federation.
From April 2001 to August 2005, he was Chief Representative of the OeNB in Paris, Permanent Mission of Austria to the OECD.
From October 2006 to December 2006, he worked as an Economist of the EU Neighbouring Regions Division at the European Central Bank.
From April 2001 to March 2014, he was an Economic Analyst for the DG ECFIN Monetary Policy Unit at the office of the European Commission.
He holds a Diploma in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, and a Master’s degree in Social Economics from the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.
