Chris Carsley

Chris is a Founding Member and Managing Partner of Arch River Capital LLC (ARC).
He is responsible for ARC's capital syndication partnerships and oversees its regulatory and reporting compliance practices.
Chris is also a contributing partner at Liquid River Capital Corp (LRC) and is a non-executive board member of BluSky Aviation Group Inc. and SkyCab Developments Inc.? Chris brings over 25 years of experience in business operations efficiency, enterprise valuation and due diligence practices, corporate and venture finance, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, arbitrage trading, and hedging.
Before co-founding ARC, Chris was an active execution trader for futures, options, and OTC-based trades at Paloma Securities (2000-2008).
He was also a senior hedge fund security and finance team member, assisting in trade strategies, margin treatment, and short coverage transactions.
Chris then served as Managing Director of Bluewater Global Ltd (2012-2017).
He performed the corporate analysis in this international holding company and invested in various venture capital projects.
Before Bluewater, he worked as a senior member of the investment research, risk management, and due diligence analysis team at Benchmark Plus (2008-2012).
At Benchmark, Chris negotiated and structured ISDAs, large lending, and finance agreements and executed global arbitrage opportunities for Canadian and European markets.
Chris co-founded the Northwest Hedge Fund Society (now the Seattle Alternative Investment Association) in 2004.
He is an executive member of the Seattle CAIA chapter launched in 2017 and managing Partner at Kirkland Capital Group (2019).
Chris earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst in 2011, and holds a BBA from the University of Portland.
