Amundi Private Equity Funds SA (Amundi PEF) is the private equity subsidiary of Amundi SA, itself a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole SA (XP: ACA) in France. Formerly known as CAAM-CI, founded in 1999 as CPR Private Equity, Amundi PEF was formed in 2009 by combining the Crédit Agricole and Société Générale asset management operations. The firm is headquartered in Paris and has additional offices in Bucharest, Cairo, Casablanca, Tunis and Warsaw. They invest in companies at all stages of development, providing institutional and individual investors with a wide spectrum of investment opportunities.

SGAM Private Equity Eastern Europe (SGAM PE/EE) is an operating division within Societé Générale Asset Management Alternative Investment/Private Equity. SGAM PE/EE is part of the SGAM Emerging Markets Group which focuses on private equity investments in emerging markets. Established in 1992, SGAM PE/EE's management team operates out of Warsaw, Bucharest and has a presence in Paris. The team manages two funds, BCEF and SGAM Eastern Europe Fund (SGAM EEF). The ultimate parent firm is the French financial institution Société Générale (XP: GLE).
