Dan Homan

Mr. Daniel Homan, CFA MBA, is a Senior Investment Analyst at Envestnet Asset Management, Inc. In this role, he conducts quantitative and qualitative research, due diligence and ESG analysis on International Large-Cap, International Small-Cap, and Emerging Markets managers.
In addition, he writes commentary on economic, geopolitical, and market-related topics.
Mr. Homan joined the Envestnet PMC research team in March of 2016.
Prior to joining the Envestnet PMC team in the Denver office, Mr. Homan was an Associate Vice President for two years with Callan Associates, an industry-leading institutional consulting firm.
At Callan, he provided analytical support to senior consultants in a variety of areas including investment manager research and monitoring, strategic planning, performance measurement, business development and other special projects.
Before working with Callan, he was a Senior Analyst with Monticello Associates, an institutional investment consultant, for seven years in the performance department where he produced reports for clients.
Mr. Homan earned his BS with dual majors, Finance and Marketing, from Iowa State University.
He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver with specializations in Investment Management and Financial Statement Analysis.
He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Colorado.
