Profile
I’ve never been a gambler, but I bet on entrepreneurs almost every time.
Entrepreneurs are the innovators of our time and the bedrock of any community (local or global) that wants to evolve, sustain and thrive.
Even in the dark, cold of a Vermont winter, the entrepreneurs and startups I serve, along with a “talent cloud” of mentors, investors, network partners, and domain experts bring hustle, innovative thinking, and motivation to their work every day.
Change doesn’t happen by edict or ribbon cutting, it happens through grit, insight, smart resourcing, courage, empathy and timing.
That’s the fun part of working with this next generation of companies and why I show up every day to lead at the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET).
Entrepreneurs know the job is 24/7 but when home in Stowe, VT, I’m likely snowboarding, reading tech journals, mountain biking, making family dinner, or playing my ukulele.
Unless I’m on a surf trip, then I'll be in Costa Rica.
