Prior to joining Thomas Lloyd-Butler in 2008, Mr. Brown was employed by the State of Montana, Board of Investments as the Assistant Investment Officer/ Portfolio Manager from 1971-1978.
In 1978, he embarked on a 20+ years successful career in commercial banking, both at First Bank Helena and Mountain West Bank Helena.
Primary responsibilities include Cash Management Services, Real estate Dept Manager, Commercial/Ag Lender and Senior Lender.
He is well known in the financial community of Montana and has and continues to be very active in the Helena community organizations, currently serving as Chairman of The Helena Family YMCA Board of Directors.
Mr. Brown earned a BA degree in Economics from Carroll College, Helena in 1971.
