SBI Funds Management Ltd. (SBIFM) is an independent India-based mutual fund management firm which was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between State Bank of India (63%) and Societe Generale SA (37%) in France. In 2009, Societe Generale and Credit Agricole SA merged their global asset management businesses, and in 2011, Amundi SA (owned 75% by Credit Agricole and 25% by Societe Generale) acquired Societe Generale's stake. Headquartered in Mumbai, SBIFM actively manages investor's assets not only through their investment expertise in domestic mutual funds, but also through offshore funds and portfolio management advisory services. Their clients are various financial institutions, pension funds, local and international asset management companies.

Baroda Asset Management India Ltd. (BAML) is the mutual fund management subsidiary of Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management India Pvt Ltd., ultimately owned by BNP Paribas SA (EPA: BNP; OTCMKTS: BNPQY) in France. The firm was founded in 1992 and formerly known as BOB Asset Management Co. Ltd. They entered into a joint venture with Pioneer Global Asset Management SpA in 2008 and changed their name to Baroda Pioneer Asset Management. They subsequently became Baroda Asset Management Co. Ltd. and Baroda Asset Management India Ltd. Headquartered in Mumbai, BAML acts as investment manager to Baroda Mutual Fund.
