Mr. Jeroen Touw is Head of Asian Equities at APG Investments Asia Ltd.
He was previously employed as Vice President & Fund Manager by Fortis Investment Management.
Joining ABN AMRO Bank in 1995 as a trainee, he became Portfolio Manager within Global Equity Management in 1996.
His responsibilities were managing global equity mandates, focussing on Japanese and Australian markets.
In 1998 he became a portfolio manager in Hong Kong, managing equity investments for institutional clients and investment trusts in Australia and New Zealand.
He was also an intern at Deutsche Bank de Bary, where he conducted research on a quantitative method of investing.
The results of this research where used to improve the existing method of quantitative investing.
The second half of the internship consisted of investing clients’ funds on the basis of the developed method.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Econometrics from the University Erasmus Rotterdam.
