JJ Lin

Mr. Yung J.
Lin is Managing Member & Chief Compliance Officer at Tree Ring Capital Management LLC.
He founded the firm in 2015 and also the President and Portfolio Manager of the firm.
Upon receiving his degrees, Mr. Lin joined the Seattle office of Deloitte Tax, LLP as a Tax Staff and was promoted to Tax Senior.
Mr. Lin later joined the Corporate Tax Department of Expedia, Inc. as a Senior Tax Analyst and was promoted to Tax Manager.
Mr. Lin has also served as Tax Manager for Demand Media, Inc., a publically traded company.
In addition to serving as portfolio manager to the Fund, since November 2010 Mr. Lin has managed a private fund, the LCM Partners Fund, L.P and has served as Managing Member of Lin Capital Management, LLC, the adviser’s parent company.
Mr. Lin graduated from the University of Washington in 2002 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business, Economics, and Political Science in August 2002, and received a Masters of Professional Accounting with a concentration in taxation from the University of Washington in June 2003.
