Based in Toronto, JC Bourque leads the Portfolio Development team in Teachers’ Venture Growth (TVG).
Responsible for growth strategy, innovation and value creation, as well as portfolio construction, his team has a view to accelerate both TVG's individual investments and the TVG portfolio as a whole.
Prior to TVG, JC was a founding member of Global Investment Strategy at Ontario Teachers’, responsible for fund-wide strategy, both cross-asset class and regional.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, JC worked at KPMG in the management consulting and deal advisory groups across multiple industries and engagements.
He has a strong background in strategy development, international relations and foreign markets, as well as extensive experience in politics and public affairs advisory.
JC teaches global strategy at Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto and holds degrees from Western University, the London School of Economics, and the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
