Profile
John joined Clearspring Capital Partners in 2013 and is involved in all aspects of value creation, portfolio management and deal sourcing.
He has more than eleven years of experience in private equity investing, and mergers and acquisitions.
John has helped manage five of Clearspring’s platform investments and supported twelve add-on acquisitions for those investments.
He is currently the lead asset manager on Demers Ambulances and Telecon.
John previously served on the Board of Logistik Unicorp until Clearspring’s successful sale in 2018.
Prior to joining Clearspring, John worked in the Investment Banking Group at Scotiabank, where he executed sell-side, buy-side and merger and acquisition transactions as well as equity and debt financings for clients in the Consumer, Retail and Industrial sectors.
In addition, his experience includes working in the Audit & Assurance Group at Ernst & Young.
John holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University and serves as Alumni President for his class.
