He has over 20 years of experience in private equity investing and company building.
He has founded two firms, most recently co-founding Kingfish Group where he grew the company from a start-up organization into a high-performing organization of over 40 individuals operating across multiple offices in San Francisco, Boston, Denver, Washington DC and Pune, India.
Over the past 10+ years, the firm has advised on over $10 billion in private equity transactions and made direct equity investments into over 25 private companies.
Previously, Jonathan co-founded Tropos Networks (acquired by ABB).
At Tropos Jonathan defined the sales, marketing and product strategy that helped bring a category defining product to market.
To date, Tropos wireless systems have been deployed at over 1,000 customers in 50+ countries worldwide.
Prior to Tropos, Jonathan was an investment professional at JAFCO America Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm.
He was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Jonathan is a graduate of Brandeis University with a BA in Economics and English, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
