Kai Xian Chen

Kai Xian Chen is currently the Chairman of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association, Chairman of the Shanghai Pudong Association For Science & Technology, Independent Director at Jiangsu Kanion Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Director at Innovent Biologics, Inc., Independent Director at Zai Lab Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Director at InnoCare Pharma Ltd., Adjunct Professor at Fudan University, President at the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology, and Adjunct Professor at China Pharmaceutical University.
He previously served as Chairman of the Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, Vice Chairman-Council of the China Pharmaceuticals Association, Independent Non-Executive Director of Shanghai Fudan Zhangjiang Bio Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Director of Fosun International Ltd., Independent Director of Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., and Deputy President of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association.
He is also a Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Chen received his undergraduate degree from Fudan University in 1968 and his graduate and doctorate degrees from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Chinese Academy of Sci in 1982 and 1985, respectively.
