Mr. LC Lee has been in the high-tech industry for more than 20 years.
Mr. Lee co-founded Quoris with the vision to provide incubation and financing for startup companies in the high tech and medical industries.
Quoris made it’s first investment into CommASIC Inc, a San Diego-based fabless semiconductor start-up specializing in low power wireless broadband ASICs for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and other 4G applications.
Under the leadership of the Quoris, CommASIC was acquired by Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (NYSE: FSL, FSL.B) in 2005.
Mr. Lee’s has had a string of successes as an entrepreneur and successful business- man.
Previously he founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Iconn Wireless Inc., which developed CDMA wireless modules for handheld applications.
Iconn was acquired by Wavecom S.A.
in 2002 (NASDAQ: WVCM).
Mr. Lee also co-founded Nexcom Inc., a developer of CDMA handsets (acquired by Gtran in 1999 and now Flextronics NASDAQ: FLEX).
From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Lee was founder, Chairman and CEO of Mobilex, Inc., a supplier of OEM wireless peripheral products to leading handset manufacturers.
Mr. Lee graduated from West Point, the United State Military Academy with a degree in Economics and System Engineering and is board of director of various companies including Ho Tung Chemical (TSE 1714.TW), Impeto Medical and LiveRelay Inc.
