Before joining Riverview in April 2000, Mr. Chiarello was a Vice President at Eurovaleur, responsible for selecting and monitoring hedge fund investments, as well as client relations.
Prior to this, Mr. Chiarello was a Director at Soros Fund Management where he worked for over fifteen years.
Some of his responsibilities at Soros included identifying, evaluating, and monitoring hedge fund managers (external to Soros Fund) for investment.
In addition, while at Soros, Mr. Chiarello was Director of Operations and had compliance and accounting responsibilities.
Prior to Soros Fund Management, Mr. Chiarello worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert in the High Yield and Convertible Bond department and for Merrill Lynch in the Treasurers and Controllers offices.
Mr. Chiarello received an MBA in Finance from New York University, and a BA in Accounting from Queens College, CUNY.
