Mr. Michael Zammitti is Head of US Real Estate Equity at Barings Real Estate Advisers LLC.
He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the investment process for real estate equity investments made in the United States.
Prior to joining Barings in 1996, Mr. Zammitti was an Investment Officer with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company in the Real Estate Division responsible for the management and disposition of office, apartment, hotel, industrial, and agricultural investments, as well as the oversight of numerous problem commercial real estate loans.
He also worked as an Asset Manager with Barclays Business Credit as well as Shawmut Bank as Manager of Financial Analysis.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota.
