(SAM-UK), is the wholly-owned Great Britain-based asset management subsidiary of Santander Asset Management Investment Holdings Ltd., ultimately held by Banco Santander SA (NYSE: SAN) in Spain. The firm was founded in 1987 and formerly known as Abbey National Asset Managers Ltd. Headquartered in Glasgow, SAM-UK manages funds on behalf of other Santander group entities as well as retail investors. It also manages a small number of segregated corporate portfolios.

Butterfield Mortgages Ltd. is the wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Ltd. (NYSE: NTB) in Great Britain. Created in 2004 when merchant bank Leopold Joseph merged with the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Ltd. The bank is located in London and provides full private banking and treasury services, internet banking, wealth management and fiduciary services to high-net worth individuals and privately-owned businesses.
