Mr. Patrick R.
George is a Principal at Florida Gulfshore Capital LLC and Managing Partner at Antonetti Capital Management LLC.
He is responsible for managing the financial assets of the Sproul family endowment.
In this capacity he oversees investments across a wide variety of asset classes, including public and private equities, fixed income, commodities, hedge funds and various other alternative investments.
He maintains close relationships with numerous money managers, institutions and other family offices.
Mr. George works closely with both Florida Gulfshore Capital, a direct venture capital firm affiliated with Halstatt, and Trent Capital Partners, a direct private equity affiliate.
He is a partner of Halstatt Real Estate Partners, a real estate private equity firm developed and sponsored by the Sproul family.
Prior to Halstatt, Mr. George held a variety of senior investment and general management positions.
Most recently, he served as the President of Lehigh Technologies, a clean tech company initially backed by Halstatt and Florida Gulfshore Capital.
While an officer at Lehigh he brought additional investors into the company including Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Index Ventures.
In the 1990's, Mr. George led the investment activities at Compaq Computer Corporation (now HP).
Before his time at Compaq, Mr. George was an investment banker at William Blair & Company in Chicago and completed over $400 million worth of public offerings and M&A assignments.
During his career, he has also worked as a strategic consultant for McKinsey & Co., and an officer of Be Free, Inc., a software company he helped to start, take public, and later sell to ValueClick, Inc.
Mr. George received an undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard College where he concentrated in Economics.
In addition, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He currently serves as an officer and board member of the Harvard Club of Naples.
