Kirkland, CFA MBA, is President, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman at Kennedy Capital Management, Inc. He is also responsible for directing the business affairs of the firm as well as coordinating Kennedy Capital Management’s client service initiatives.
Mr. Kirkland began his investment career in 1983.
Prior to joining Kennedy Capital Management, he served as a Senior Consultant with Asset Consulting Group in St. Louis and worked with large institutional accounts for 13 years.
He is past President of the CFA Society of St. Louis.
Prior to his consulting career, he was involved in institutional investment management for six years.
He joined KCM in 2005 and has served as President and CEO since August 2006.
He received his BA degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of North Texas and an MBA from St. Louis University.
