Houston, CFA, is a Divisional Director at Investec Wealth & Investment Ltd.
Her primary role is to help clients find investment solutions to meet their objectives.
She do this by understanding their requirements and circumstances before recommending structured investment portfolios.
She also identify situations that require the input of a Financial Adviser or other professional intermediary to help solve them tax efficiently.
She have a number of clients based overseas for whom she manage investment portfolios as well.
She is also the Head of the Leeds office and manage those investment professionals within the office.
She worked for the company for over 20 years and have looked after Private Clients during the whole of that time.
These relationships bring her in touch with Trustees, Company Directors and other professionals to broaden her skill set and client reach.
Ms. Houston joined the institutional investment team at Lloyds Investment Managers in London, which then became Hill Samuel.
In 1996, she joined BWD Rensburg (now Investec) in Leeds as an Investment Assistant and was promoted through her current role in September 1999.
She is a Chartered Wealth Manager and an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK but it all started with a BA(Hons) Financial Services.
