Mr. MacKilliop brings extensive managed account and securities law experience to USF.
Most recently, as co-founder and President of Trivium Consulting, he has helped build out and develop mutual fund and separate account platforms for Bear Stearns, the Frank Russell Company, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, Nationwide, Securities America Advisors and many others.
From 1998 to 2000, he served as President of Portfolio Management Consultants (PMC) International, Inc. (which became EnvestnetPMC), the first firm to provide separately managed account services to independent advisors.
Before joining PMC, he served as President of ADAM Investment Services, Inc., a pioneer in providing mutual fund managed account services to independent financial advisors.Inc., an investment consulting firm providing advice to employee benefit plans, foundations and endowments with $30 billion in assets.
Mr. MacKilltop has served as a senior executive with a health-related consumer products firm that he helped to found and a venture capital firm that provided funding and management services to small growth companies.
He began his career practicing law in Washington, D.C., specializing in corporate, ERISA, securities and venture capital matters.
Mr. MacKilltop has authored articles on topics including managed accounts, investment consulting and behavioral finance.
His articles have appeared in the Journal of Financial Planning, Investment Advisor, Financial Advisor, Financial Planning, Financial Strategies, The Monitor and The Wrap Fee Advisor.
He earned his B.A.
from Stanford University in Political Science and his J.D.
