This announcement is made by the Company pursuant to Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the SFO and Rule 13.09(2) of the Listing Rules.

Uni-President, the ultimate controlling shareholder of the Company, is required to release certain information regarding its investments made through its subsidiaries to the Taiwan market pursuant to the applicable laws and regulations of Taiwan (including those of the Taiwan Stock Exchange). The Company has been informed by Uni-President that the information it proposes to release ("Relevant Information") includes the unaudited profit (loss) after tax of the Company and certain of its subsidiaries for the nine months ended 30 September 2019. The Company has been further informed that the Relevant Information will be released by Uni-President on or about 6 November 2019.
