A21 Torino-Piacenza: the toll-road, interrupted at Asti exit, re-opened at 10 am

A21 TORINO-PIACENZA: THE TOLL-ROAD, INTERRUPTED AT ASTI EXIT,

RE-OPENED AT 10 AM

Torino, November 25th 2019 - After yesterday exceptional rainfall in the Asti region, on the A21 Toll-Road there was the erosion of a piece of asphalt, due to the increase of the Triversa river level and moreover for the increase of the underground aquifers, causing a break of the motorway infrastructure at the Asti exit, towards Torino direction.

The event didn't cause any damage at any toll-road customers.

SATAP technicians worked all night in order to fix the toll road as soon as possible.

Today, at 6.30 am, the vehicles flow has been opened again with one lane for each side while the normal flow with two lanes for each side has foreseen for this morning at 10.
