SUPPLEMENTAL ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is made by China Development Bank International Investment Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

Reference is made to the announcement dated 6 March 2020 (the "Announcement") of the Company. Unless otherwise stated, terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcement. The Board hereby informs the shareholders and potential investors of the Company that, based on a preliminary review of the investment portfolio of the Group as of 31 December 2019, the Company expects to record a profit attributable to owners of the Company for the twelve months ended 31 December 2019 of not less than approximately HK$170,000,000 as compared to the same period in 2018 of approximately HK$139,580,000, which is primarily attributable to an increase in net valuation gains in fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss.

The information contained in this announcement is only based on a preliminary assessment by the Board with reference to the information currently available to the Company, which has not been finalized or reviewed by the Company's auditors or the audit committee of the Company. Further details of the Group's performance will be disclosed in the annual results of the Company for the twelve months ended 31 December 2019, which is expected to be published in March 2020.
