SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of CTA Gallet, headquartered in Bourges, France.

Privately owned CTA Gallet operates 18 vehicle inspection service (VIS) centers in the region. It employs 26 people, performs 55,000 road safety inspections every year and generated over EUR 2.6 million of revenue in 2019. Following the acquisition, SGS will own 66 VIS centers in France, employ 175 people in its vehicle inspection business and deliver over 345,000 inspections per year.

'This acquisition follows the successful integration of RDFI Group in 2013 and DLH Group in 2015. Through this acquisition, SGS and its affiliated network consolidates its leading market position in vehicle inspection services in France,' said Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS.
