Linde PLC said Tuesday that operations have started at its hydrogen and carbon monoxide facility and its air separation unit in Texas.

The German-American chemical company said the plants will supply oxygen, nitrogen and carbon monoxide to Celanese Corp., a U.S. chemical and specialty-materials company, as well as hydrogen to other customers via Linde's U.S. Gulf Coast pipeline system.

The air separation unit is also connected to Linde's nitrogen and oxygen pipeline network, which will supply Celanese and other customers in the area.
