Ed.Square serves up a caffeine hit at the Daily Bean

Local coffee specialist opens café in new sales centre

SYDNEY, 7 SEPTEMBER 2018

When Daily Bean café opened its doors at Ed.Square last month, proprietor Denis Simione built on his dream of bringing the best coffee to south-west Sydney.

Denis, who already runs a successful café of the same name at nearby Oran Park, which he opened four years ago, is excited to bring his passion for hospitality, food and coffee to the new community at Ed.Square,

Frasers Property Australia's new development at Edmondson Park.

Denis says operating the café offers a prime opportunity to be part of a connected community right from the very start.

"I really love the social and creative aspect of hospitality. Our new café is a great opportunity to meet the locals and refine our ideas for the restaurant we plan to open in the new town centre," says Denis.

"Our vision is to create a distinctive social gathering point. We want to become a destination for our unique coffee blend made from Columbian, Ethiopian and Indonesian beans.

"Good coffee should be complemented by a fresh, made-to-order menu. Our first cafe is a kiosk format so our new café here at Ed.Square is an opportunity for us to expand our menu and share our special coffee, food and hospitality further afield."

Denis is excited that the café is surrounded by green open spaces and will overlook the new town square.

His loyal team of staff are helping him develop the new café and he hopes they will take on management roles within the café and prospective new restaurants.

The Daily Bean at Ed.Square is open seven days. Locals can grab a coffee and a meal on Monday to Saturday from 6am to 4pm, and on Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

Adjacent to Edmondson Park train station, Ed.Square will comprise over six hectares of open space and a variety of home styles and floorplans across 991 apartments and 893 terraces and townhouses.

A 68-metre high residential tower atop the town centre is set to become an architectural landmark and epicentre of the new community, from which the village will expand into the streets and laneways that will flow into parks and bushland.

There will be a shopping, dining and entertainment precinct, which will include an Eat Street, Coles supermarket, fresh food market place, cinema, childcare centre, tavern and healthcare facilities.

The first Ed.Square residents are expected to move into their new homes in the summer of 2019-2020, which will coincide with the completion of the first stage of the town centre.

Ed.Square will be serviced by convenient bus and train links to Parramatta and Sydney CBD, along with easy access to Sydney's main roads. Liverpool is just three train stops away from Edmondson Park train station and Sydney's future second airport at Badgerys Creek will be close by.
