BANGKOK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Thailand's cabinet has approved 56 billion baht worth of measures for rice farmers, a government spokesperson told Reuters on Tuesday.
The measures include a 1,000-baht handout for farmers for each rai of land, but not exceeding 20 rai, Radklao Inthawong Suwankiri said, using a Thai unit of area. ($1 = 36.0800 baht) (Reporting by Panarat Thepgumpanat and Chayut Setboonsarng, Edited by)
