Canada's budget to increase taxes on the wealthiest, says source

OTTAWA, April 15 (Reuters) - The federal budget that Canada's Liberal government is due to present on Tuesday will increase taxes on the wealthiest individuals, a source familiar with the matter said on Monday, but gave no details.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has already said the budget will not boost taxes on the middle class. The news of the tax increase was first reported by French language public broadcaster Radio-Canada.
