TOKYO (Reuters) - Bank of Japan board member Makoto Sakurai said on Wednesday the central bank should spend time monitoring the impact of steps it took to cushion the economic blow from the coronavirus crisis, signalling that no immediate expansion of stimulus was needed.
Sakurai also told a news conference that there was no big change to his views on the economic and price outlook, compared with when the BOJ last issued its quarterly projections in July.
