FTSE 100 Seen Opening Lower Amid Concerns About Chinese Property Market

0639 GMT - The FTSE 100 is seen opening lower on rising concerns about the Chinese real estate market as some developers struggle to meet payments. IG futures data show the London index opening down 11 points, having closed on Friday at 7524.16. "The week starts on a bad mood as the Chinese property worries escalate with developer Country Garden suspending almost a dozen of onshore bonds starting from today," Swissquote Bank analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya writes. "Investors are also concerned that the economic data due to be released this week in China would further dampen sentiment." (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
