SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

abrdn European Logistics Income PLC, up 3.6% at 62.60 pence, 12-month range 49.45p-82.97p. The investment fund focusing on European logistics real estate updates on its strategic review, noting it has received "a number of broad ranging preliminary, indicative non-binding proposals" since November. Says it is "encouraged" by progress made to date with its advisers "actively engaging" with a number of parties over due diligence, though says no certainty of any proposal being "sufficiently attractive" to put before shareholders. Decides to forgo declaring fourth interim dividend for the quarter ended December 31, to ensure the firm is "optimally positioned" with "maximum flexibility".

Sabre Insurance Group PLC, up 1.9% at 163.02p, 12-month range 91.92p-168.00p. Berenberg raises its price target for the stock to 200p from 170p, keeping its 'buy' rating. The insurer last Thursday said it anticipates reporting annual improvements across "almost all key measures" for 2023. Gross written premiums are expected at around GBP225 million, 31% ahead of GBP171.3 million in 2022.

Xaar PLC, down 2.4% at 119.63p, 12-month range 90.24p-214p. The industrial inkjet manufacturer edges lower after recent gains. The stock is up 6.8% over the past week, and 19% over the past month. However, it remains down 29% over the past 12 months.
