• Bank's last three matured equity investment notes have yielded returns of 4.2%, 4.7% and 6.1%

UAE, Abu Dhabi, 01 May 2017 - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading financial institution, has launched a new Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Equities Basket Note designed to capitalize on projected growth in the healthcare industry. The Shariah-compliant note matures in 12 months and provides 100% capital protection at maturity to minimize investment risk. The note is currently open for subscription until 25 May 2017 and offers a 3-month lock-in period. The minimum investment for the note is US$30,000.

The product provides investors with exposure to a basket of leading international companies operating across the healthcare pharmaceutical sectors, including Celgene Corp, Merck & Co., Novartis AG, Novo Nordisk and Pfizer INC. Maturity date for the note is April 4, 2018, and return could reach up to 10.25%.
