ABU DHABI NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company announced the appointment of Andrew Woodward as Group Chief Underwriting Officer. In his new role, Woodward will direct underwriting for ADNIC's commercial and consumer lines. He will also be responsible for ensuring the progression and effective implementation of ADNIC's underwriting strategy, with a focus on profitability targets and diversification into new sectors.
Woodward joins ADNIC with over 30 years of insurance and underwriting experience gained in multinational Companies in UAE, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Japan and UK. Most recently, Woodward served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Emirates Insurance Company, where he was responsible for underwriting management across all business lines. As Group Chief Underwriting Officer, Woodward will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive and leadership teams to effectively implement ADNIC's strategic business and expansion plans for 2014 and beyond.
