The New York-based company said it had profit of 75 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 67 cents per share.

The technology patent licensor posted revenue of $92.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported net income of $67.1 million, or 58 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $125.1 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $3.98. A year ago, they were trading at $4.50.
