Accenture has acquired privately-held cybersecurity company MNEMO Mexico.

Accenture didn't disclose the terms of the deal, but said the Mexico City-based company has 229 cybersecurity professionals and 180 cybersecurity industry certifications.

The professional services company said that the deal would help expand its presence in Mexico and broader Latin America. MNEMO's clients are largely focused in telecommunications, banking and insurance, the company said.

Accenture said the MNEMO team would help address growing demand in the region for cybersecurity services.
