LUXEMBOURG (AP) _ Adecoagro SA (AGRO) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $11.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Luxembourg-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 15 cents per share.

The producer of agricultural products and renewable energy posted revenue of $181.9 million in the period.

Adecoagro shares have decreased 39% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.08, a drop of almost 10% in the last 12 months.
