Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. strengthened its global executive team by appointing Pat Walsh as Vice President and General Manager, US Region. Walsh will drive continued penetration of the US market for AMEC's advanced etch tools. Reporting to CEO Gerald Yin, he'll also start building out the Asia-based company's local service infrastructure to support US customers.
Walsh spent nearly 15 years at Applied Materials - six years as General Manager of several key US global accounts.
