IDENTITY
Juan Ignacio Díaz Bidart.
CURRICULUM
Degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and Master's in Business Administration, Management and Organisation from University Camilo José Cela. He is an expert in tourism, market competition and public economy.
He is currently Office Minister at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. He was general secretary and manager of Marcas de Restauración, member of Serving Europe and chairperson at the CEOE Assembly.
He was a member of the PAOS Code Monitoring Committee, the Observatory for Nutrition at the AECOSAN and the Monitoring Committee of the "More food, less waste" strategy from the Ministry of Agriculture. He was a member of the HIP (Hospitality Innovation Planet) board, the AECOC-HORECA committee and the European Union Agency ETF on an international project regarding professional qualifications in Tourism in the south of Europe and North Africa.
He has collaborated on projects providing assistance to catering companies in their international projects. Until June 2018, he performed the role of treasurer of the Asociación de Profesionales de las Relaciones Institucionales (Association of Institutional Relations Professionals).
Since 2006, he has been an associate professor at UC3M where he gives lectures on Public Economy, Industrial Organisation, Financial Management and Game Theory. At a postgraduate level, he has given classes for the Consumer Affairs European Master's and the Creation of Catering Companies Master's at CEU-Gasma.

Aena S.M.E., S.A. is specialized in the management of 46 airports and 2 heliports located in Spain. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- provision of airport services (54.9%): air traffic management (283.2 million passengers and 1,079,676 tons of cargo transported in 2023), security services, intermodal transport and terminal management, assistance, aircraft and baggage handling, passenger screening and transfer, ticketing, etc.;
- operating of shops and restaurants (30.4%);
- other (2.1%): operation of car parks, management of property (land, warehouses, hangars, etc.).
The remaining sales (12.6%) concern activity on the international stage (21 airports managed in Europe and Latin America).
