1 February 2021, Moscow - Aeroflot PJSC (the 'Company') announces that MSCI ESG Ratings has upgraded the Company's ESG score from B to BB.

MSCI ESG Ratings emphasized that the upgrade of the rating by one point is associated with positive results in the field of ecology and management of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2), which are below the global averages due to the young fleet operated by Aeroflot Group.

The MSCI ESG Ratings is one of the leaders in assessing the performance of public issuers in the field of sustainable development, such as corporate governance, social development, health and safety. Companies are assessed on a scale from AAA to CCC based on the key indicators applicable to the aviation industry.

Aeroflot also holds sustainability ratings from FTSE Russell at 2.9, CDP rating at D and is included in the FTSE4Good Index Series.
