François Charritat, 56, is to become General Manager of
Paris-Le Bourget Airport, as of 1st October
2012. Since March 2010, he has served as deputy to the
General Manager, Michel de Ronne, who is retiring.
An engineering graduate from l'Ecole Spéciale des
Travaux Publics, du bâtiment et de l'industrie (ESTP),
François CHARRITAT joined Aéroports de Paris in 1983, after
having spent two years overseas in Morocco. Since joining, he
has held several positions, including his role as manager of
the
maintenance service at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport,
before moving on to become head of the operations department
at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
François Charritat was also decisive in Paris-Charles de
Gaulle airport acquiring ISO 14001 certification. Between
2006 and 2010, he joined the Sustainable Development
department, addressing problems associated with the
environment and, in particular, relations with the residents
living nearby Paris-Orly airport.
He then joined Paris-Le Bourget as Deputy General Manager in
March 2010.
