AES Brasil Energia S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 908.64 million compared to BRL 786.56 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 53.33 million compared to BRL 40.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.089 compared to BRL 0.083 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.087 compared to BRL 0.081 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was BRL 2,457.88 million compared to BRL 2,084.27 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 75.41 million compared to BRL 67.32 million a year ago.
