Afya Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 723.48 million compared to BRL 580.58 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 93.35 million compared to BRL 75.76 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.04 compared to BRL 0.84 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.03 compared to BRL 0.84 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was BRL 2,146.05 million compared to BRL 1,745.06 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 288.26 million compared to BRL 306.88 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 3.21 compared to BRL 3.39 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 3.18 compared to BRL 3.38 a year ago.
