Birlesik Holding Limited agreed to acquire Anadolu Restoran Isletmeleri Ltd from AG Anadolu Grubu Holding A.S. (IBSE:AGHOL) for TL 280 million on January 30, 2020. As per the agreement, AG Anadolu Grubu Holding A.S. will sell 0.8 million share of Anadolu Restoran Isletmeleri at TL 317.8 per share. The consideration will be paid in cash. The transaction is subject to the approval of legal authorities, approval of competition board. As of December 8, 2020, the transaction has been approved by Turkey's competition authority. The transaction will be completed by first quarter of 2020. As of December 8, 2020, the closing of the transaction has been postponed on the request of Birlesik. The buyer had asked for indefinite delay in the closing due to negative effects of Covid-19-related restrictions on Anadolu Restoran's business.
